However, for us, team learning is the very goal we work with our clients to achieve. In order for a team to achieve lasting performance, it must, of course, meet its objectives. It also needs to do so by working effectively and collectively. It goes without saying that if a team doesn’t work in this way, it will not get results.

What gives a team the edge it needs, however, is its ability to learn from all the experiences it has gone through. A team can only develop a model of excellence (whether strategic, operational, organisational or relational) that is tailored to its specific context, and that can adapt to changes in this context, if it is capable of continually reinventing itself. Here, there are no off-the-shelf solutions, no miracle cures, no hard and fast rules; just the ability to create a feedback process, to solve complex problems together and to make decisions that will have a real impact.
